Behind the Design
Behind it all lies a sleeping brute of a monkey wishing only to have a decent night sleep, his illustration skills to return to college levels, make enough money not to worry about bills, and enough time during the weekend to relax and play with our son before trudging off to another wonderful work week.

  Husband & Father
First and foremost, I'm one proud father. Willem Donald was born March 3rd and is now the center of everything I do. I hope to corrupt him with comic books, useless movie knowledge, Atari, and Nintendo. I'm married to the love of my life Jennifer and we live happily in my hometown of Pardeeville, WI, for the moment.

Designer & Photographer
Classically trained in the arts of color, layout, and composition from the minds at the Art Department of MATC-Truax. It was so nice, I graduated twice -- once in communications and once in applied arts. First photography, then graphic design took their hold in the skills of my head. Dealing with various job prospects as a graphic designer in the Madison job market has led to many good years in the creative field from large to small corporations, and ultimately to my very own studio in my home. During my training at college, I accumulated between 10 - 12 studies in photography alone and currently own seven cameras ranging from and old Kodak Pony to my new Canon EOS 8 Mega-Pixel Digital.

I've created or shot almost anything you can think of: logos, brands, websites, brochures, senior class portraits, menu boards, signage, wallpaper, location photography, hanging structures, sales literature, weddings, receptions, Taste of Madison venues, complete corporate identities, product photography, annual reports, and hundreds of business cards.

  Fanboy
I'm actually chasing my first love however: writing, producing, and illustrating my own comic, but that's only when I'm not chasing Willem around the house. 2367 is the title of the series of books I am working on. They include: Batman, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Green Lantern, along with my own story titled 2367. I, like so many out there, draw inspiration from so many areas including photography, movies, and anime.

Currently, I'm a huge fan of anything Jeph Loeb (Superman/Batman), Frank Miller (Batman / Sin City), Grant Morrison (Superman), or Joss Weadon (X-Men) writes; and anything Ed McGunness (Superman/Batman), Jim Lee (Batman / Anything), Frank Quitely (Superman), and Humberto Ramos (Wolverine) pencil.

I currently am a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and one of the founding members of the Save Farscape Campaign. I enjoy loosing my vision to Best Week Ever & Web Junk 20 on VH1, Dexter & Weeds on Sho, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends & Xiaolin Showdown on Cartoon Network, Entourage on HBO, BSG & SG1 on Sci-Fi (way to go SG1 on 200 epi). I'll forgive you Sci-Fi if you release another mini-series of Farscape.
